S1000D Speaker Details

Ian Proctor is a publications consultant with CDG, a Boeing Company. Ian started work as a Technical Author, in early 1993 following a 30 year career as a maintainer in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Ian rapidly progressed to become technical manager at CDG Knaresborough site and is now a Technical Consultant at CDG providing consultancy services on technical publication management, and structured documentation solutions.

With 18 years experience as a technical publications provider and 30 years experience as a maintainer, Ian is ideally placed to advise on technical publications solutions. Ian is a member of both the S1000D Electronic Publications Working Group (EPWG), and the UK S1000D Working Group. He is the lead of the S1000D Multimedia Task Team.
